"You're Still Here" was performed in July, 2018. This was an original play about grief. The show was presented in partnership with Alive Hospice Grief. There were 6 public performances that served 1211 audience members. We had 28 young actors in the show as well as 2 adult professionals. Our Winter Concert was in December, 2018. This was our 7th annual winter concert that served 55 students and 1061 audience members. "Secondhand Wings" was performed in February, 2019. This was an original play in partnership with The Rainbow Squad, a non-profit LGBTQIA+ organization for middle schoolers. The how was an allegory about trans youth and was very well received. The show engaged 41 students and served an audience of 1131.William Shakespear's "Much Ado About Nothing" was roduced by The Theater Bug. The show was guest directed by Santiago Sosa. There were 7 students in the cast and 1077 audience members were in attendance."Summer Musical Theater Workshop" was produced in May,2018 as the start of our summer programming. The workshop provided an educational opportunity to learn about musical theater through scenes and songs from past Theater Bug shows. The workshop served 33 students.
