San Francisco Rock Project continued on the mission of delivering fundamental music education to the community in 2018. We maintain our partnership with the SF Public Library and have settled into a strong partnership with Livable City, an organization dedicated to making the city of San Francisco (and other cities as well) a more accessible and enjoyable place for those who live here. In particular, we have become a key participant in their annual event series called Sunday Streets, which is geared to getting cars off of busy streets for an entire Sunday, opening the streets up to bikes and pedestrians, as well as performances (which we participate in) and other exhibits. This is an important way for us to engage in the community, as we participate in all of the nieghborhoods the event takes place in.
