Mission

AITAF's mission is to use the powerful shared experience of the arts to start conversations between military and civilian, service member and family member, the world of the arts and the world of practical action.

About

Broadway - the largest programmatic expense for the 2018 season is our annual performance on Broadway. The performance takes place in New York City, and serves 1,000 veterans, active duty military men and women and their families. The show is performed on or around Veterans Day, and serves as AITAF's cornerstone performance for the year. All of the tickets for military service members and their families are free, but some revenue is generated from civilians, who purchase tickets to contribute directly to offsetting costs of production, food and beverage and union labor.
