About
Kiwanis Village Park Playground Renovation: In lieu of naming rights for the formerly named Village Park, the Pewaukee Kiwanis pledged to donate $100,000 over a 20 year period toward a complete playground renovation to the park. The agreement was approved by the Joint Parks & Recreation Board and the Friends of Pewaukee Parks were asked to receive the donations and pay for the equipment as the costs are incurred. In 2018, several pieces were purchased. In October of 2018, the Kiwanis decided to finish their donation earlier than projected to complete their commitment. Those funds will be spent in 2019 to finish the playground.
