America Needs You (ANY) provides high-achieving, low-income, first-generation college students with exposure to a wide variety of careers, access to professional networks, preparation to secure and succeed in career-track internships and motivation to complete college. We currently operate in New York, New Jersey, Illinois and California through our community-based and school-based programs.Through an intensive workshop series spanning two years, pairing in-person training with one-on-one mentorship and holistic support, over 600 first-generation college students (Fellows) learn key skills necessary to succeed in todays competitive workforce. In addition to training and mentorship, students may also receive professional development grants and in-kind support, including professional attire.Students who complete ANY programs achieve extraordinary outcomes:92% complete internships94% earn bachelors degrees within six years of college enrollment87% secure full-time employment or enroll in full-time graduate programs within six months of college graduation
