Mammography screening: The mammography screening program provides funds for patients at a percentage of poverty level who otherwise would not seek out and/or have recommended mammogram screening. The number of patients assisted in 2018 was 125. In addition, the lymphedema program supports patients following breast cancer surgery with lymph swelling who otherwise would not be able to purchase appliances to assist with minimizing, reducing or otherwise removing sometimes painful swelling predisposing them to other bodily concerns.
