Mothers' Milk Bank collects, screens, and dispenses donated surplus milk from healthy, lactating mothers. In 2018, Mothers' Milk Bank dispensed 646,392 ounces to over 645 outpatient recipients and 146 hospitals who provide banked milk for their patients. Banked donor milk is available for babies whose own mothers are unable to supply their needs, and others who have special health requirements for human milk.
