About this organization
Mission
To provide, without cost, mobility, dignity, self-respect and self-esteem to those children who do not have the use of their legs. These pet units are provided primarily by volunteers who have found a real purpose in their lives.
About
Provide mobility, and therefore a life, for children of poor, third world countries who have lost the use of their legs for many reasons including disease, land mines and animal attacks. These units are called a pet, personal energy transportation, which is a hand cranked tricycle that can be used on off-road terrain. We manufacture these units with 100% volunteer labor. There are neither remunerations nor benefits of any kind to anyone affiliated with our pet operation. We give the units free of charge and we distribute them through non-governmental agencies. These agencies already have overseas distribution facilities and must be qualified to certify each recipient as to need and ability to use the unit. In the year 2019, we produced approximately 689 units.
