STATEMENT OF PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTSITS BEEN ANOTHER INCREDIBLE YEAR FOR CCPA, OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND THE GREATER COMMUNITY WE SERVE. WE HAVE PRODUCED, PROMOTED, PRESENTED AND BROUGHT A MULTITUDE OF ARTISTIC AND ENRICHING PUBLIC PERFORMANCES OF EXPERIENCED BASED PERFORMING ARTS, CULTURE, AND ENTERTAINMENT, SUCH AS, CONCERTS, MUSICALS, POETRY, COMEDY, PLAYS, TEEN TALENT SHOWS, DIGITAL ARTS AND FILMS. WE HAVE EXPANDED OUR THEATRE PRODUCTION, LIVE SOUND, STAGE LIGHTING, SOUND ENGINEERING, DIGITAL ARTS, DIGITAL VIDEO EDUCATION AND HANDS-ON TRAINING FOR THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS. WE HAVE CREATED A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH EAST BAY ARTS HIGH SCHOOL, IN PROVIDING AND PRODUCING TALENT SHOWCASES, PROVIDING THE AVENUE OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSION THROUGH PERFORMING ARTS, VISUALS ARTS AND TRADITIONAL ARTS, AS WELL AS EXPANDING OUR PROGRAM IN ART EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE BASED TRAINING, THAT IS FACILITATED THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIPS WITH SAN LORENZO AND SAN LEANDRO UNIFEID SCHOOL DISTRICT AND PILOT CITY, THROUGH OUR MENTORING AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS. WE CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS LIKE PILOT CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF SAN LEANDRO AND OTHERS, TOGETHER WE LEAD INNOVATIVE YOUTH ROUNDTABLES, INSPIRING THEIR INHERENT TALENTS AND CREATING THE CHANNELS THROUGH THE ARTS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES AND THEIR EXPERIENCES. WE HAVE FOSTERED, PRODUCED AND HOSTED THE YOUTH OF THE YEAR AWARDS NIGHT WITH THE SL BOYS & GIRLS CLUB, AND WE PRODUCED AND HOSTED THEIR LIVE THEATRICAL PLAYS. WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE VENUE/PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TO LOCAL ARTISTS TO DISPLAY THEIR ART AND PERFORM, PARTICIPATE AND EXPRESS THE ARTS FOR THE COMMUNITY. WE CONTINUE TO HOST FREE LIVE TELEVISED COMMUNITY AND SPORTING EVENTS SUCH AS WARRIORS AND MIXED MARTIAL ARTS.WE CONTINUE TO BRING WORLD CLASS ENTERTAINMENT TO THE COMMUNITY WITH OUR MAIN STAGE PROGRAM. WE CONTINUE TO OFFER FREE MOVIE AND LIVE EVENT PROGRAMS TO SERVE MULTIPLE UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS, INCLUDING THE DEAF AND SPANISH SPEAKING COMMUNITIES WITH MOVIES IN SPANISH LANGUAGE AUDIO AND OUR CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP WITH DCARA TO BRING AND MAKE AVAILABLE OPEN CAPTIONED MOVIES AND INTERPERTERS TO LIVE EVENTS FOR THE HEARING-IMPAIRED COMMUNITY. WE HAVE CONTINUED OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FOUR COUNTY WIDE DISCOVER & GO PROGRAM THROUGH THE SAN LEANDRO MAIN LIBRARY WHERE WE DONATE FREE EVENT TICKETS TO THE COMMUNITY WHERE WE REACH MORE COMMUNITY MEMBERS THROUGH THE LIBRARY TO EXPOSE AND ENGAGE THEM IN ART, CULTURE & ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCES. WE CONTINUE TO FOSTER OUR COMMUNITY BENEFIT PROGRAM WHERE WE DONATE EVENT TICKETS THROUGHOUT THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES AND TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ARTS AND TO ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION WHILE ENJOYING EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMING ART EXPERIENCES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. WE SERVE THOUSANDS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS EACH YEAR. WE HAVE WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO PROMOTING ART, CULTURE & ENTERTAINMENT THROUGHOUT SAN LEANDRO.WE ARE CONTINUING TO GROW OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE PARK AND REC DEPARTMENT, PRODUCING FREE COMMUNITY EVENTS LIKE THE 2018 SAN LEANDRO CHERRY FESTIVAL, SUPER BOWL WATCH PARTIES, AND POPUP TEEN TAKEOVER NIGHTS. THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CONTINUES TO BE A GREAT PARTNER AND SUPPORTOR OF OUR ORGANIZATION AND OUR MISSSION THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS, SPONSORSHIPS, AND GRANTS. WE ARE CONTNIUING TO MAKE A NOTICIBLE DIFFERENCE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY, OUR INCLUSIVINESS REACHES AND REPRESENTS A LARGE POPULATION OF UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. OUR PROGRAMS CONTINUE TO BUILD CULTURAL BRIDGES, WE NARROW THE GAP BETWEEN PEOPLE OF ALL RACIAL AND ECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS AS THEY COLLECTIVELY EXPERIENCE ART, CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT AS ONE COMMUNITY.
