About this organization
Mission
Weinberg Village Waimanalo is a service-enriched transitional housing program for homeless families with minor-aged children, following the housing first model. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, nurturing environment where the children can grow and flourish while the parents focus on building skills that will lead to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. The goal of the program is to assist the families in moving forward into permanent housing as quickly as possible. We do this by identifying barriers and skills needed to become financially independent and secure and by helping them to find ways to remove those roadblocks through intensive personalized case management.
