Health program: - 1,343 women were screened for cervical cancer, and over 135 were treated for precancerous abnormalities. An American cytopathologist visited to review and improve lab procedures. - 4 medical mission trips were completed by American physicians (3 of which included medical students), providing services including family practice, pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology. - Prenatal vitamins were distributed to 400 pregnant women; vitamin A supplements were distributed to 3,625 children. - 1,614 patients were seen by our Guatemalan medical staff (nurse & physician)
