The Bexar County Performing Arts Center Foundation was established to provide a world-class venue that promotes a diverse range of cultural, educational, and artistic experiences to improve the quality of life in San Antonio. In 2018 The Tobin Center hosted 375 events that brought the very best of the performing arts world to San Antonio. The venue welcomed approximately two hundred twenty thousand visitors through its doors. Through its education programs, the Tobin served over sixty-five thousand children in Bexar County. The Tobin Center is home to seven resident arts organizations, including the San Antonio Symphony, Opera San Antonio and Ballet San Antonio.
