About

In 2017, the Duncan Tree Foundation and its scoliosis care fund provided 40 spine surgeries to pediatric patients in need. DTF sponsored five medical mission trips and completed 40 corrective spine surgeries. The program continues to expand its reach, visiting Kingston Public Hospital in Jamaica on its 19th mission trip there, Princess Elizabeth Medical Centre in Trinidad Tobago, two hospitals in Davao City, Philippines Southern Philippines Medical Center and Tebow Cure Hospital. Patient outcomes have been remarkable. U.S. and international volunteers continue to provide medical expertise and knowledge that is changing lives and building capacity at the local hospitals, by offering ongoing hands-on training for dozens of local medical doctors, residents, nurses, and medical technologists. The income and expenses for the above surgeries were from in-kind donations and are not included in the income listed for contributions.
