About this organization
Mission
Mother Miracle's mission is to provide charitable English and computer education, nutrition, healthcare, and humanitarian service to underprivileged children and adults regardless of creed, race, religion, or caste. In our technology school, we educate impoverished children of India to be leaders in the digital age.
About
CHILDREN'S EDUCATION PROGRAM:In the Childrens Education Program we offer free English education for gifted students from poor families in our community. Today we have 400 students. We are looking forward to soon expanding to 700 students. Admission to our school is competitive, with only 60 new students being admitted to the new kindergarten class each year, from among hundreds or thousands of applicants. Our school is conducted in English. We provide each child with free school materials, summer and winter uniforms, shoes, all books, notebooks, backpacks, two meals a day, healthcare. We also provide classes in sports, art, dance, singing, instrumental music, yoga and meditation.Without the education we provide, these children would likely become child labor or would not receive any education at all, because even government schools in India are not free. If their families did manage to finance their education in a government school or with the help of a government subsidy, they still would not achieve their full potential. Government schools are extremely poor and education is in Hindi language, but all universities are in English. So the children who graduate from government schools have less chance to go to college. We provide a high-quality education with a fast-paced, advanced curriculum to all our students, giving them an advantage so that they can overcome the obstacles of poverty and succeed in the future. We do our best to target the children who are most likely to succeed long-term. We provide scholarship programs to help them go to college so that they can eventually help to raise themselves, their families, and their entire community out of poverty.
