Provide quality live theatre and other theatrical activities and venue to enhance arts, culture, entertainment, and education to both youth and adults from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.

About

Produced 7 mainstage shows, vaudeville show, USO tribute honoring current and veteran military, gala entertainment. Served some 5,800 patrons utilizing over 200 volunteer actors and workers. Apprenticed directors, stage-managers, and technicians. Participated in community outreach; hundreds of new patrons into the theatre: First Fridays, Sip & Stroll, Dies Y Seiz, and Western Swing Festival, with educational theatre history tours throughout. Liaised with local school drama programs, exchanging resources and opportunities for actors and technicians. GBT created community service opportunities for the LHS Key Club and LJH National Honor Society, serving about 100 teens. Increased from one youth summer theatre camp to two. Updated sound system to assist hard of hearing and reached out to those in our community making sure they could enjoy live theatre, too. Future goals include more education, screening classic movies, and script-writing contests.
