Pennsylvania Health Access Network:The Pennsylvania Health Access Netowrk (PHAN) is a project of CHC for which it serves as fiscal sponsor. PHAN is a statewide coalition of more than 60 organizations representing the faith, legal services, public health, immigrant and disability rights communities. PHAN works to protect high quality health insurance coverage for individuals and businesses and to expand coverage to the uninsured while also providing health coverage enrollment assistance and related services. It is the leading coalition providing education and outreach on health care reform and has provideddirect enrollment assistance to uninsured Pennsylvanians since 2013. PHAN employs navigators across the state who help individuals and families apply for health insurance affordability programs like the Marketplace (healthcare.gov), Medicaid, and CHIP. Our staff is available evenings, weekends, and during normal business hours, in-person and through oir statewide helpline, to help Pennsylvanians navigate the health care landscape.
