IN ALL OF OUR WORK CENTERS AND ENCLAVES, THOSE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND PSYCHIATRIC DISABILITIES ARE EMPLOYED TO COMPLETE WORK AT THEIR OWN PRODUCTION LEVELS. FOR SOME, THE WORK PROVIDES A SPRINGBOARD TO COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT; OTHERS ARE CHOOSING TO WORK IN THIS MILIEU DUE TO THEIR ENJOYMENT OF THE WORK PROVIDED AND THE SUPPORT THEY RECEIVE FROM THEIR CO WORKERS, INCLUDING THEIR PROGRAM SPECIALISTS AND THEIR JOB COACHES. MANY OF THE TASKS IN THE WORK CENTERS ARE LIGHT ASSEMBLY TASKS. BCRC IS A VOCATIONAL CENTER WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR VOCATIONAL GROWTH AND INDEPENDENCE WHILE RESPECTING THE DIGNITY AND UNIQUENESS OF EACH INDIVIDUAL. TO THAT END, MANY AVENUES HAVE BEEN CREATED. GIFTS DELIVERED FEATURING CANDY BOUQUET PERMITS THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO ENJOY CREATING ITEMS A MECHANISM TO LEARN A VARIETY OF SKILLS, TEAMWORK, AND WORK ETHIC TO PRODUCE FOR SALE CORPORATE GIFTS, WREATHS, AND BOUQUETS. BCRC RECORDS MANAGEMENT CENTER OFFERS ACTUAL WORK PROJECTS FOR OUR EMPLOYEES PROVIDING THEM WITH TRANSFERABLE SKILLS THAT ARE IN DEMAND THROUGHOUT THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY TODAY.
