THIS PROGRAM, WHICH IS HELD AT THE Y, GUIDES CHILDREN TO EAT 5 FRUITS AND VEGETABLES A DAY, HAVE 2 HOURS OR LESS OF SCREEN TIME DAILY, HAVE AT LEAST 1 HOUR OF VIGOROUS PHYSICAL ACTIVITY EACH DAY AND 0 SUGARY DRINKS. IN 2018, THIS PROGRAM ALSO SERVED CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITIES OF AMBRIDGE, CORAOPOLIS, AND MOON TOWNSHIP WHO FACE POVERTY AND LIMITED RESOURCES IN THEIR COMMUNITY. THE Y PARTNERED WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO IDENTIFY CHILDREN IN NEED OF THIS PROGRAM AND OFFER IT NEAR THEIR HOMES.
