THE CLINIC SERVES THE COUNTIES OF ROANOKE, BOTETOURT AND CRAIG, THE CITIES OF ROANOKE AND SALEM, THE TOWN OF VINTON, AND SURROUNDING LOCALITIES.SERVICES THAT WERE PROVIDED CONSISTED OF THE FOLLOWING: OUR MEDICAL CLINIC PROVIDES PRIMARY CARE, CHRONIC CARE, EYE EXAMS, LAB WORK, MINOR OUTPATIENT SURGERY, PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES AND COUNSELING, SCHOOL PHYSICALS, PATIENT EDUCATION, DIABETES EDUCATION AS WELL AS WOMEN'S HEALTH CARE SERVICES. IN ADDITION TO OUR PATIENTS, OUR PHARMACY PROVIDES PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS FOR PATIENTS SEEN BY OUTSIDE PHYSICIANS, PATIENTS SEEN IN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS OF LOCAL HOSPITALS AND PATIENTS WHO HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL. OUR DENTAL CLINIC SERVICES INCLUDE ORAL SCREENINGS, X-RAYS, EXTRACTIONS, RESTORATIONS, AND LIMITED CLEANING SERVICES. PROJECT ACCESS (PA) IS A PROGRAM WITHIN BRADLEY FREE CLINIC THAT COORDINATES PHYSICIAN DRIVEN, PATIENT CENTERED SPECIALTY SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME, UNISURED RESIDENTS OF THE ROANOKE VALLEY. PA IS NOT INSURANCE NOR A GOVERNMENT PROGRAM. PA RELIES UPON DONATED SERVICES FROM INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS, WHO ARE DEDICATED TO FINDING WAYS TO PROVIDE HEALTHCARE FOR THOSE IN NEED. PA WAS INTIALLY FOUNDED A LITTLE MORE THAN A DECADE AGO WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE ROANOKE VALLEY ACADEMY OF MEDICINE. THE PA VOLUNTEER NETWORK CONSISTS OF OVER 500 AREA PHYSICIANS AND PROVIDERS FROM A VARIETY OF PRIMARY AND SPECIALTY CARE OFFICES THROUGHOUT THE ROANOKE VALLEY. PA WORKS IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL HEALTH CLINICS, NON-PROFITS AND HOSPITALS TO CONNECT PATIENTS TO THE SERVICES THAT ARE DONATED IN THE VOLUNTEER NETWORK. PATIENTS ARE SEEN AT THE RESPECTIVE PRACTICES AND/OR FACILITIES FREE OF CHARGE.
