Mission
El Valor’s mission is to support children, people with disabilities, and their families to achieve excellence and participate fully in life. Our programs exist to create opportunities that enrich and empower vulnerable populations to become their own advocates and promote a sense of inclusion within a learning community. El Valor aspires to be a leader in social justice and the premier organization that supports vulnerable populations to meet their full potential.
About
Early childhood program: a multi-service integrated and comprehensive family of programs aimed at preparing the family in social welfare and appropriate family techniques and preparing the pre-schooler for kindergarden in a formal nuturing environment. Head Start services are provided to children in three centers and in 22 satellite sites. Early Head Start and prevention services are provided to families with some receiving early intervention services. El Valor serves 1,582 children on a daily basis Monday thru Friday throughout the year.
