Support of the Houston Lighthouse for the Blind: The Houston Delta Gamma Foundation is dedicated to assisting the visually impaired in the greater Houston area. The foundation helps fill the gaps in services benefiting the visually impaired through its own programs and in collaboration with a variety of service organizations to: help prevent blindness through education and medical interventions; help support counseling for low-vision patients and their families; provide cultural-enrichment programs for the visually impaired; make equipment available to aid blind and low-vision patients; provide scholarships and tuition assistance for the visually impaired, and; provide assistance to needy, visually impaired individuals for their general welfare.
