About this organization
Mission
Child Freedom Coalition rescues children from human trafficking and provides them with long-term care. Each child that enters our care learns a trade so that when they graduate our care they are equipped to become independent and successful. Most of the graduates who find a new place in the world voluntarily choose to give back. Child Freedom Coalition believes that empowered graduates themselves freed from slavery are the key to freeing the millions of children currently exploited by trafficking.
About
Rescuing child slaves and abandoned children: we partner with the SyloM PastorsLeague in India to rescue children caught in human trafficking or abandoned by desperately poor parents. Over 22,000 children have been rescued. Through Child Freedom Coalition with our partners in India, we help care for over 10,000 rescued children who could not be returned to their parents. The children are provided love and guidance, food, shelter, clothing, medical care, basic education, and age-appropriate vocational training. Over 300 children have graduated and have jobs and now give back to help rescue more children.
