Mission

Discover creation, experience God, and grow in faith through a Christian faith based approach to outdoor education and ministry.

About

Camp Guilrock focuses on sharing the Christian faith through the outdoor camp setting. Youth groups, church groups, civic groups, scout groups, families, and individuals experience spiritual growth through activities like day and overnight camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, ropes challenge activities, devotions and worship experiences. Guilrock United Methodist Camp, Inc. has continued to grow and reach more people throughout our surrounding community. In the past year, we have seen our day camp program expand from two weeks in 2017 to a full eight in 2018. This allowed us to serve over 160 campers over the summer. We have also continued to improve our rental experience for all of our guests which has led to continued growth in usage of the property throughout the year. We closed 2018 with one of our most successful fundraising appeals which raised over 10,000 thanks to a generous matching gift. The director and board of directors are excited by the growth seen in the ministry and are continuing to implement new programs and strategies to help continue the growth in the 2019 calendar year.
