Our Mission is to create and nurture a tranquil environment in order that participants may focus on recovery and comfortably use the tools in order to make responsible, sound decisions.

About

During fiscal year 2018-19, Tradition One continued to provide services for 43 men over the age of 18 years. Tradition One is licensed and certified by the State of California Alcohol Drug programs. Tradition One program is based on the Twelve Step recovery concept, and organized as a peer oriented Social Model Recovery Home. Tradition One considers the home to be a learning process. Tradition One holds one 1 morning group presentation and eight 8 evening groups each week. Tradition One requires a six 6 month minimum commitment for each participant. Most of Tradition One staff are recovering alcoholics/addicts with a wide range of experience in the field of recovery. Tradition One counselors are all certified by organizations recognized by the State of California. 20 of Tradition One admissions are dual diagnosed mental illness coupled with addiction, 96 are homeless, 78 are on probation/parole, 49 are employed at discharge, 28 have no high school diploma or GED.
