Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona helps to preserve the health, dignity and independence of elderly and disabled adults by providing medically-tailored, home-delivered meals and daily contact with a caring volunteer. Homebound adults in Tucson, Green Valley and Sahuarita receive two meals a day, five days a week. Each meal is freshly prepared at one of ten partner healthcare facilities in Pima County to meet each client's specific nutritional needs. We envision a community where elderly and disabled adults thrive physically and emotionally in their own homes because they have ready access to appropriate, nutritious food and a compassionate network of support to ensure their health and safety.

MOBILE MEALS OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA (MMSA) DELIVERS SPECIAL DIET, MEDICALLY TAILORED AND REGULAR DIET MEALS TO SENIORS AND PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES IN PIMA COUNTY. IN FY 2019, MORE THAN 100,000 MEALS WERE DELIVERED TO CLOSE TO 600 INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE UNABLE TO COOK OR SHOP FOR THEMSELVES. ALONG WITH NOURISHING FOOD AND ESSENTIAL PERSONAL SUPPLIES, VOLUNTEER VISITS SERVE BOTH SOCIAL AND SAFETY PURPOSES, OFFERING PARTICIPANTS SOCIAL INTERACTION, DAILY CHECK-INS, AND A DEPENDABLE CONNECTION TO THE COMMUNITY.
