Environmental Education Program: ASGD provided hands-on, natural science programs to over 1,500 Pre-K to high school students (including Title I schools) in fiscal 2017-2018. Programs were offered in the classroom, on school grounds/neighborhood parks and at the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield State Park. ASGD also offered a year-long "Healthy Waters, Healthy Birds" program for the fifth grade students at East Elementary School and the fourth grade students at Roxborough Intermediate School. The Audubon Nature Center is open to the public for family and adult programs, summer camps, and a variety of public events. We had over 2,700 visitors and program participants of all ages at the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield State Park during fiscal year 2017-2018.
