About

Merakey Parkside Recovery Programs provided treatment to over 1,500 individuals in the Philadelphia area struggling with substance use dependence disorder. At Parkside Recovery, we offer both medicated assisted treatment (methadone, suboxone and vivitrol) and non-medicated assisted treatment. Program offers two different levels of care - intensive outpatient and outpatient. All of our individuals see a therapist along with medical doctor and psychiatrist. During the year, Parkside Recovery began working closely with emergency rooms, inpatient facilities and crisis centers providing mobile pickups for individuals seeking services. This service has allowed individuals who previously went untreated to engage in treatment. Parkside Recovery also began offering prolonged exposure, an evidenced-based practice for post-traumatic stress disorder.
