About
Education-promoted educational and cultural benefits of soccer. Teach fair play with respect for other players, coaches and referees. Each seasonal program booklet describes attitudes expected and the proper way to play soccer, leading to improvement of the sport. Player development-league encourages clubs (local groups) to organize sessions and clinics, which can be shared with other clubs. Competitive games-foster national and international amateur sports competition. Assist soccer players to team up with and/or play against children from all different towns, states and countries. Teams and divisions are designs to encourage development at the player level. Support future competition-NSLI provides support for its teams to complete nationally and internationally. Programs involves approximately 89 fall and 102 spring member clubs, approximately 498 teams in the fall and 703 teams in spring and equates to approximately 19,216 players for both seasons.
