Mission

The Citizens Campaign is a non-profit non-partisan organization dedicated to fixing our democracy from the bottom up by training citizens in 'no blame' politics and evidence-based problem solving, while empowering citizens to change the political climate and become a new force for answering our hometowns, state and nation’s challenges.

About

The Civic Trust - Putting empowerment training to work. Civic trusts are community based, unincorporated associations of citizens interested in making their communities better, but turned off by dysfunctional politics. They work together in a 'no blame' environment with the help of a dream team of volunteer experts to find and implement solutions to their cities' most pressing problems. Civic trusts are composed of approximately 24 citizens who have demonstrated proven leadership ability and passion for their cities and are able to make a commitment to serve as a civic trustee for one to three years. Civic trusts are working in several urban areas including the cities of Newark, Trenton and Perth Amboy.
