Island Housing Trust (IHT) sold three houses to eligible buyers: 1) a house purchased and renovated by IHT in Northeast Harbor, one of the hardest hit communities on MDI for a declining year-round population; 2) a house in Mount Desert that was donated to IHT and moved onto land donated by the town of Mount Desert; 3) a house purchased by IHT in the Ripples Hill neighborhood in Somesville. IHT completed one HOAP Fund project, awarding HOAP funds toward the purchase of a year-round home in Seal Cove. IHT now holds covenants on 33 homes in all 4 MDI towns.
