About
The Millis Council on Aging provides programs, services, and resources to older adults and their families. The Council on Aging was established to identify the local needs of the community's senior and disabled residents. The Council on Aging provides social and recreational programs, and assistance services such as HESSCO home-delivered meals, case management, medical transportation, senior property tax work-off program, information and referral, SHINE Medicare counseling, durable medical equipment, volunteer opportunities, and vital links to other federal, state and local programs that can assist senior residents to remain healthy and independent in the community. Our goals are to improve social-emotional well-being and health status, increase economic security, decrease caregiver stress, and improve the overall quality of life of our residents. Programs and services are offered to all Millis residents aged sixty or older, and disabled residents.
