HOT MEALS & CULINARY ARTSOUR SOUP KITCHEN STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS SERVED 33,244 HOT, NUTRITIOUS, FREE MEALS DURING LUNCH IN 2018. LUNCH BREAK PROVIDES A 4 COURSE MEAL, AND AN INVITING ENVIRONMENT THAT MANY COMMUNITY MEMBERS COME TO FOR FELLOWSHIP.VOLUNTEERS PREPARE AND DELIVER 6,279 HOME BOUND MEALS TO CLIENTS WHO RESIDE IN RED BANK AND CANNOT COME TO LUNCH BREAK DUE TO ILLNESS OR PHYSICAL DISABILITY.THE WEEKLY COMMUNITY DINNERS PROVIDE SOCIAL INTERACTION FOR THOSE WHO EXPERIENCE LONELINESS AND SOCIAL ISOLATION. LUNCH BREAK SERVED 3,718 DINNERS IN 2018.EVERY WEEK, IN COLLABORATION WITH TOWER HILL FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, AND ST. GEORGE'S-BY-THE-RIVER CHURCH, HOT MEALS ARE DELIVERED TO DISPLACED INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN THE PAN AMERICAN HOTEL IN EATONTOWN. MORE THAN 5,602 WERE DELIVERED IN 2018. IN ADDITION TO HOT MEALS, CLOTHING IS ALSO DISTRIBUTED.LOOK WHO'S COOKING OUR TUITION-FREE COOKING CLASSES ARE OFFERED TO CHILDREN IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. THE MEALS PREPARED BY THE STUDENTS ARE SERVED TO CLIENTS THE NEXT DAY. IN 2018, 259 CHILDREN GRADUATED FROM THE PROGRAM.WE ALSO SPONSOR AND HOST A CHRISTMAS BRUNCH AND THANKSGIVING DINNER IN ADDITION TO DELIVERING TO OUR HOME BOUND CLIENTS AS WELL. IN 2018, WE SERVED 283 THANKSGIVING DINNERS AND BRUNCH TO 315 COMMUNITY MEMBERS ON CHRISTMAS MORNING.SUMMER SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM PROVIDED 2,800 MEALS TO LOCAL CHILDREN ATTENDING SUMMER SCHOOL WHEN FREE AND REDUCED PRICE LUNCHES WERE UNAVAILABLE.BAGGED LUNCHES ARE PREARED AND DELIVERED EVERY DAY FOR ONE WEEK IN JULY FOR THE WORLD CHANGERS VOLUNTEER GROUP. IN 2018, WE PROVIDED 400 LUNCHES TO THE WORLD CHANGERS VOLUNTEERS.SATURDAY BREAKFAST IS SPONSORED BY LOCAL HOUSES OF WORSHIP INCLUDING TOWER HILL FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN RED BANK AND THE SEACOAST MISSIONARY BAPTIST ASSOCIATION. IN 2018, WE SERVED 7,996 BREAKFAST MEALS.CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST IS SERVED 5 DAYS A WEEK FROM 8:30 AM TO 10:30 AM IN OUR DINING ROOM. IN 2018, WE SERVED 9,199 BREAKFAST MEALS.
