About
FY18 there were many programs funded through the SGA. From themed celebration which included (homecoming, Latin heritage, LGBT, Asian, African heritage and women celebration weeks). These are long week celebration where many events take place and in total received a $50,000 dollar budget. SGA also funded many off campus events, from Broadway shows to a trip to Six Flags Great Adventure. They also funded Spring Jam for the 5th year where two big named artist performed. This by far was our biggest and most expensive event. Many students attended. We hosted dinner dances, movie nights, student center take overs and lectures. We try to have many events throughout the year to keep the students involved and make sure the student activity fees are being spent on events.
