Helping Animals Live and Overcome (H.A.L.O.) provides a no-kill safe haven where extraordinary measures are taken to save homeless pets and protect them from abuse and neglect. H.A.L.O. believes in engaging our community by providing resources, education, and programs to do the same.

In 2017 H.A.L.O. rescued, rehabilitated and adopted 1,706 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, reunited 425 lost pets, and gave out 625 low cost spay & neuter vouchers. By supporting H.A.L.O., you are supporting Indian River Counties only no kill animal rescue and H.A.L.O.'s successful programs designed to reduce euthanasia in shelters. H.A.L.O. believes that every problem has a solution and the answer is not in killing.
