The mission of Promise Community Health Center is to provide accessible, holistic health care that adapts to the needs of the community to improve the wellbeing of all persons. Promise Community Health Center, formerly known as Greater Sioux Community Health Center, opened in Sioux Center in 2008 and operates as the only federally qualified health center serving the far northwest corner of Iowa. Promise's core services are: medical, prenatal, dental, vision/eye care and behavioral health care. Promise also offers family planning, nurse health coaching, immunizations, affordable medications, lab services, interpretation and translation, and various other services. As a community health center, everyone is welcome at Promise – no matter their income, ethnic background or life experience.
