Financial advisors are nominated for one of the following five awards: Catalyst, Community Service, Global Impact, Volunteer of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement. Advisor finalists and winners receive a donation to their designated charities; finalists receive $10,000, winners receive $40,000, and the Lifetime Achievement Award winner receives $50,000. These amounts may increase depending on funds raised during the year. Sixty honorable mentions may also receive donations of $1,000 each depending on funds raised. Awards are presented at the annual gala each fall. Additionally, Invest in Others offers opportunities throughout the year for financial advisors to apply for grants on behalf of charities to support specific projects or programs.
