IT IS OUR MISSION TO TEACH THE GAME OF BASEBALL AND CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOUNG BASEBALL PLAYERS CAN WORK TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS OF PLAYING COLLEGE OR PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL.

SEATTLE SELECT BASEBALL WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE YOUTH WITH OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPOSURE TO BASEBALL, INSTILLING CORE VALUES OF DISCIPLINE, TEAMWORK, SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, AND INTEGRITY, ALL WHILE COMPETING AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. DURING THE 2018-2019 SEASON SEATTLE SELECT BASEBALL FIELDED 12 TEAMS WITH OVER 150 PLAYERS, AND PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO 7 PLAYERS WITH PROVEN FINANCIAL NEED. CLUB PLAYERS PARTICIPATED IN REGIONAL AND NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS WINNING SEVERAL TITLES. THE SEATTLE SELECT BASEBALL CLUB STARTED TO SEE THE RESULTS OF THE HARD WORK OF COACHES, PLAYERS, PARENTS AND THE BOARD THROUGH THE SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPMENT OF BASEBALL PLAYERS WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO COMPETE AT COLLEGE AND MLB LEVELS. THE RESULTS OF DEVELOPING A SOLID PROGRAM OF ATHLETICS AND ACADEMICS AGAIN AFFORDED GRADUATING SENIORS THE OPPORTUNITIES TO PLAY COLLEGE BASEBALL, WITH SEVERAL SENIORS GOING ON TO PLAY AT THE NCAA DIVISION I LEVEL. 90+% OF THIS YEAR'S GRADUATING PLAYERS WENT ON TO COLLEGE. SEATTLE SELECT BASEBALL ALSO PROVIDES A SAFE FACILITY FOR PLAYERS TO TRAIN OUTSIDE OF THEIR SCHEDULED TEAM PRACTICES. PROGRAM OFFERINGS ARE CONTINUALLY REVISED IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE THE CLUB'S PERFORMANCE AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. THE CLUB NOW OFFERS FREE TRAINING SEVERAL NIGHTS A WEEK FOR ALL MEMBERS TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT. THE CLUB HOSTED SEVERAL COLLEGE AND MLB ALUMNI TO SPEAK TO PLAYERS ABOUT THE TRAINING AND DEDICATION IT TAKES TO PLAY BASEBALL AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. THE 2018-2019 SEASON BROUGHT ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL PLAYER LEVELS, BUT PARTICULARLY FOR THE YOUNGER PLAYERS HELPING THEM DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AT SPECIFIC POSITIONS.
