Moving on Life Center ran a support group for pregnant teens. This program was entitled Project M.O.T.H.E.R. (Moms Onward to Health Embracing Resiliency). We applied for a grant to run this program but did not get the award. However, the need was still great. We were able to provide counseling and support services to 5 pregnant girls under this initiative. Our doula counselors maintain contact with the girls long after their babies are delivered.
