Mission

Our mission is to inspire girls in the 3rd through 8th grade to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

About

During the year ended 6/30/19 we served 919 girls, including 47 on scholarship. Using 260 volunteers meeting twice a week in small teams of 8-15 from 3rd to 5th grade, and separate groups from 6th to 8th grade, girls learned life skills through dynamic, conversation-based lessons and running games. The curriculum is designed to allow every girl to recognize her inner strength, make new friends, build confidence, and develop life skills that will help them as they move through adolescence and beyond. The season culminates with the Fall 5K and Spring 5K celebratory events that give them a tangible sense of goal achievement.
