About

Professional education program - The NAGC provides education to professionals and volunteers who provide counseling and support to bereaved children, teens and their families. Our education programs include monthly online live education sessions, onsite training and seminars in local communities throughout the US and an annual symposium which serves as the premier professional gathering for the children's bereavement support field. This past year, we provided education to over 3,000 professionals and volunteers across N. America. Over 2,000 attended our fall webcast, 450+ attended the annual symposium on childhood grief, 500+ attended our webinars and hundreds more were educated through local trainings and seminars. Registration costs are kept low to increase access to the events by smaller organizations. More than 30 scholarships were offered last year. Our monthly webinars are offered to NAGC members for free including CEUs (up tp 18 per year)
