THREE LARGE TOUR OPERATORS AND SEVERAL OF THE TRAVEL CORPORATION'S BRANDS HAVE INTEGRATED THE EXPERIENCE INTO THEIR ITINERARIES, PROVIDING UP TO 4000 MORE VISITORS ANNUALLY. 4.) 75 WORLD TRAVEL & TOURISM COUNCIL LEADERS IN BUENOS AIRES WORKED ON A NUMBER OF BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS ON THE GROUNDS OF THE HISTORIC BUENOS AIRES ECOPARK INCLUDING PLANTING, REMOVAL OF INVASIVE SPECIES, REPAIR OF HISTORIC BRIDGES AND CREATION OF EDUCATIONAL MARKETING MATERIALS FOR VISITORS. 5.) BUILT 75 BIKES FOR CHILDREN IN NEED AT U.S. TRAVEL ASSOCIATION'S IPW IN DENVER. 6.) RAISED $61,748 IN 2018 FOR A TOTAL OF $438,904 FOR THE DESTINATION DISASTER RECOVERY FUND, SUPPORTING THE CARIBBEAN, SOUTH FLORIDA AND TEXAS GULF COAST IN THE WAKE OF HURRICANES HARVEY, IRMA AND MARIA. 7.) DISTRIBUTED 34 GRANTS TOTALING $316,600 FROM THE DESTINATION DISASTER RECOVERY FUND FOCUSED ON TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE, WORKFORCE TRAINING AND RE-EMPLOYMENT, AND INVESTED IN TOURISM SOCIAL ENTERPRISES EMPOWERING THOSE IN DESTINATIONS TO BUILD BACK BETTER TO ENSURE THEIR RESILIENCE. IMPACTED 6 CARIBBEAN ISLAND NATIONS, TEXAS AND S. FLORIDA. 8.)
