About this organization
Mission
To empower Vietnamese-American's social adjustment, family stability, and self-sufficiency while nurturing community service and youth leaders through ESL/Citizenship classes, digital literacy programs, and information and referral services.
About
ESL and Citizenship Programs: Our ESL program is offered all three quarters of the year. Twice a week, one native English speaking and one bilingual instructor gather with our clients to teach conversational English in context-focused classes. Social interaction and skills for specific situations are emphasized in a safe learning space where clients can practice with each other in order to build fluency skills that are needed for job-seeking and managing other life tasks. This runs hand-in-hand with our citizenship and naturalization classes which focus on American history, government, and social studies.
