Hiwedo conducted outreach and rural services to the communities and small businesses we serve, to educate and assist in completing applications to meet the new affordable care act health insurance requirement to obtain health insurance and if qualified, to receive federally subsidized coverage. For the fiscal year ending 2017, Hiwedo assisted participants island wide for affordable heatcare coverage. The program ended in the fall of 2017.
