About

Discipleship and Bible study. Discipleship in Great Adventure Ministries continued to excel in 2018. Tuesday night is the heart of our current efforts in discipling people. The evening starts with dinner at 6:30 p.m. (each small group hosts the meal on a rotating basis). The meal is followed by a time of worship led by our worship and music team, and then a brief message or testimony from someone in our ministry. Finally, we break into Bible study groups to discuss lessons we have prepared. In 2018, our ministry studied the Gospel of Mark, and the books of I Samuel, I John and Esther. We also did some topical studies and had some special speakers. Our attendance runs about 75 with over 50 churches represented. Often smaller churches do not have a ministry to young professionals so Great Adventure Ministries helps support the ministry of local churches in this way. Discipleship is also enhanced by trips and retreats our ministry takes to Christian camps or out to Colorado. These events provide a more intense time of training and growth in our individual walk with Christ. Activities like special topical messages, Bible studies, testimonies, prayer and worship help our people become better spiritual leaders.
