GYC provided a leadership training weekend in Fusa, Columbia from March 27th through April 2nd to strengthen their affiliate program in Latin America. Classes and seminars consisted of practical training in youth leadership, ministry, and service projects in the community. This was a follow-up visit from their first training in Colombia in 2017 where GYC in collaboration with Blessings International provided medical services and resources. A second leadership weekend and mission trip was held in Panama on January 18th - 27th, 2019. During this mission trip, a community service activity took place where attendees shared over 130,000 pieces of literature and worked with the local church and their members. Ongoing follow-up visits as well as training weeks are planned for 2019/20.
