About this organization
Mission
Amana Academy's mission is to prepare students for high academic achievement, beyond what they think possible, so that they become active contributors to building a better world. We are Georgia's first and only STEM-certified K-8 School, serving 800 students in Fulton County. The school's challenging academic program is rooted in the Harvard-based EL Education model, which empowers kids to reach beyond what they think they are capable of in order to make the world a better place. Students become leaders of their own learning, and collaborate on semester-long learning expeditions that seek to find solutions to real world problems locally and globally.
About
Amana Academy is a publicly funded Fulton County Georgia charter school that strives for an environment that emphasizes high academic achievement, critical thinking while still leaving the door open for individual learning styles.
