Our mission at Casa of Oklahoma County is to provide trained volunteers to be champions for the individualized best interests of children in foster care.

In FY2019, Casa of Oklahoma County (Casa of OKCO) provided advocacy services to 670 children in Oklahoma County. Of those children, 45% were under the age of 5 with 85.3% of these children under the age of 12. Casa of OKCO was assigned to work with children who overwhelmingly entered the foster care system due to domestic violence and substance abuse issues with their biological parents. Casa volunteers assisted 38% of these children in finding safe, permanent homes during 2019, a 6% increase over FY2018 outcomes. Casa of OKCO also experienced a 90% increase in new volunteers or 118 new volunteers available for case appointment in FY2019.
