Transitional housing - During 2019, Help USA operated 3,059 units of transitional housing and served over 16,255 homeless persons in family and individual transitional housing programs. These programs offered safe, service-rich residential environments to the homeless residents and worked with the residents to achieve employment and permanent housing. Permanent affordable and supportive housing - During 2019, Help USA operated 1,151 units of permanent affordable and supportive housing at 19 residences across the United States. In these programs, Help USA housed families and individuals who were formerly homeless, at risk of homelessness, living with disabilities such as serious mental illness.
