About
Our team in Ukraine is changing the country's core systems, working with government, ministries, and officials. We contribute to the improvement and implementation of the legislation on gender-based violence prevention and response while reforming the penitentiary system. In 2018, we extended the list of our beneficiaries and included children who survived violence. We build capacities of local NGOs and support service providers on interagency cooperation, detection, prevention, and combating violence against women and children. We also conduct a wide range of work with the families of veterans and the challenges presented by the conflict in the east of Ukraine.
