About
Poets House Library and Showcase: The Poets House Library is among the most comprehensive collections of poetry available to the public anywhere in the country. The 70,000 volume collection is open to everyone free of charge, in open stacks. During this year, a major digitization initiative launched to broad acclaim. An exhibit of all the new books of poetry published in the United States each year, the Poets House Showcase represented well over 700 publishers from across the country. Through the Showcase and other individual donations, Poets House added over 3,000 books and special collection items to its permanent collection.
